A Little bit of this, A Little bit of that

~This past Sunday we had another car wash.  I love doing them because it is so fun hanging out with friends and washing cars.  Plus we are earning money to bring home our baby:) I know the washing cars part doesn't sound so fun but actually it is!!!

Me and two of my besties Katie and Meg- Rockin the signs
(Deanna, I am getting a pic of you next time)

~After the car wash (since it was so nice out and we really needed to get it done before its to late) my sweet husband (I helped a little) built my raised garden beds.
*no that is not a Starbucks cup sitting in the grass ;)

He built two of them.  Now all we need to do is get some dirt.  I will post pics when they are all filled and ready to go.

~Ordinary Hero was giving out some AWESOME grants to who ever sold the most merchandise from Wed-Sun.  I sent out some emails. . .like everyday. . . . posted on FB and guess what.... We came in 3rd!!!  And recieved a $200 grant!!   Thank you to everybody who ordered.

Can I just say... I LOVE Ordinary Hero!!!

~Last night I had to go in front of our Missions committee at our church and tell them about our proposal to start a GO group -The Least of These.  It is primarily going to be a orphan/foster care ministry but we will be doing some other ministry things as well.  I think the meeting went well, nobody really had any questions, I don't know if thats good or bad.  I will hear tomorrow if we get the "official" approval.

~And just because I don't have enough going on, I decided to make the girls Easter skirts.  Here is just a sneak preview.

Happy Tuesday!!!!

After Christmas Sale and a HUGE blessing

This is Millie's second year of not having a stocking ...(.not like she really cares at this age) so I figured it was time to get her one.  I searched the internet to find the perfect stocking and I found the cutest one on SUPER sale.  It doesn't really go with the other kids, but that's OK.  And while I was getting hers (and because it was SOOOO cheap) I decided to get one for her brother too!!!

The HUGE Blessing - Our car has been leaking water on the inside and the check engine light has been on.  We took it to the dealership (my husband deals with them a lot with his own work so he knows the owner fairly well) just to get the leaking water thing fixed because it stinks and with the amount of rain we get in WA it's not good to have a leaky anything.  So they fixed the leak, no biggy.....  Then THEY-the dealership, decided to fix the check engine light problem without asking us if we wanted it done....  the parts alone for the problem were $500 that is not even with all the labor they put into it.  SO with parts and labor it would have been at least  $1000!!!  When they called my husband they felt so bad about NOT calling him first to ask if we wanted them to fix it they said don't worry about paying!!!  SO CRAZY!!!  This is totally a God thing... because really, who does that??  fixes your car with out knowing if you have paid or are going to pay?!?!?!  Thank you Jesus!!  He knows our needs and is SOOO faithful to provide.
