Next years goals
*5k or 10k a month
* atleast 1 or 2 half marathons

I have to set fitness goals for myself because lets face it....I am lazy!!  I would rather stay tucked in my nice warm bed than get up in the cold and run in the dark or go the gym and run on a treadmill.

I think it will also pass the time a little faster till we meet our sweet baby boy!!!

Happy New Year!!!
I am so excited to see what God has in store for
our family in 2011!!!

April Run

My April run was of course the Tulip Run (although it isn't even near or through the tulips).  Hannah, my sister, and I did this one together since my usual running partner (my mom) is in Africa.  It was a beautiful spring day!!!

March Run

My March run was the Sunset Loop Relay.  Which is 4, 2.5 mile laps.  You can either have teams or do it all yourself.  Its out at Washington Park in Anacortes and if any of you have been there you know the first 1.5 miles are uphill.  We had 2 teams... The Hot Dads and the Hot Mamas.  It was really fun doing it with my family:)

Tommy Thompson

We have been going out to the Tommy Thompson trail a lot lately, well on the nice days. The trail goes along part of the Anacortes waterfront and over the old train trussle to the oil refinery. It is very beautiful out there, we have seen an array of wildlife. The kids generally like going out there but they have their days of saying "this is boring" or "I am too tired". Silas and Eliza ride their bikes and I push Ava in the jogger stroller. Depending on where you start it can either be a 4mile run or a 5.4 mile run. Last Saturday I did the 5.4. It always goes by quickly.
