Make every dollar count!!

We have made sure to involve the kids in every step of the way from fundraising to learning about Ethiopia to just dialoguing about having another sibling.  We as a family have been working so hard to bring our baby boy home.  We are not afraid to give things up and make sacrifices and to do without.

They are so excited to say the least and can't seem to understand why it's taking so long for their brother to come home.  They keep saying that maybe he will be here by Christmas...Yeah maybe NEXT Christmas but not this one. 

My eldest daughter Eliza had the idea to not get any of the kids presents just stockings and to put all the money we would spend towards the adoption.  Now trust me I have already thought of doing this, but I wanted them to think of it and be ok with not getting presents when everybody else is. All of the gifts that our family buys are going to be bought for a cause.  We want our money to be helping somebody else out in some way, shape, or form.  We want to be good stewards of the money God has blessed us with.
